The teachers are prepared (hopefully!)  The parents are ready.  And the kids anxiously await meeting their new teachers and friends.

For some, the first day back to school goes really smoothly.  For others it’s fraught with questions and concern.

• Will my child’s teacher appreciate his/her brilliance?
• Will my child feel safe?  Physically.  And safe to be who he/she is?
• Will my child be able to meet the demands of the class and school?
• Will my child’s spirit flourish and grow this year, or will their spark dwindle?

This video warms the heart and sends an important message.  No two children are the same!  We (parents and educators) all need to identify, embrace and cultivate our students, so they blossom to be the absolute BEST they can be.
