We motivate teens to want to succeed, and we make sure they achieve everything they can.
We are experienced and trained in working with teens with diagnoses like:
Apraxia / Articulation – we help teens produce clearer speech, sounding more intelligible and pleasing to themselves.
Attention Deficit Disorders (ADHD) – we help teens achieve greater attention with cognitive-behavioral strategies (learning skills like organization and time management), and we are comfortable discussing medications, exercise and alternative treatments to make sure teens do their best socially, at home and in school.
Autism (ASD) and Asperger’s Syndrome – we help teens develop social thinking skills. We recognize each teen’s individuality, their strengths and weaknesses. We work to maximize teens’ social success.
Auditory Processing Disorders (C/APD) – we help teens, their families and schools, to develop strategies for academic success in the face of auditory processing difficulties.
Dyslexia – We help teens. No matter long they’ve had trouble reading, to address and find success (and joy) in reading – online, magazines, books and texts (English / Hebrew)
Receptive / Expressive Language – we help teens develop strategies to promote better oral and written expression (word-retrieval, vocabulary, spelling, etc.) and better listening and reading comprehension.
Other learning disabilities – we use our training and experience to understand, engage and motivate teens with a wide range of learning profiles.
