Becca Grussgott, M.A. CCC- SLP is an associate at Schneider Speech Pathology. Becca works from the notion that each person has infinite value and their own distinct abilities. She believes in cultivating and empowering each unique individual. Becca is known for her passion and dedication to helping others as well as her positive demeanor and empathetic nature.
Becca graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences from the University of Colorado, Boulder, where she was the recipient of the Young Leader of Tomorrow Award. She continued on to earn a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Hofstra University. Thereafter, Becca joined the practice and working alongside Dr. Phil Schneider.
Becca completed internships at the American Institute for Stuttering as well as at a District 75 school in the South Bronx. During graduate school she founded and coordinated Friendship Circle, a mentoring program for children in the community who have special needs. While working towards her Master’s, Becca was also involved in stuttering research investigating the prediction of stuttering moments during speech production.
Becca enjoys meditation, hiking and spending time in Central Park and soaking up the culture of the city. She lives in Manhattan with her husband.
