Joy Kling is known for her compassion, positivity and extensive experience as an exceptionally talented speech therapist.

Joy first met Phil and Uri as she pursued her masters in Speech-Language Pathology from Queens College, CUNY.  Over the past two decades, Joy has worked with people of all ages and cultures, in nearly every professional setting.  Joy was the clinical supervisor for fluency disorders at the Queens College Speech-Hearing-Language Clinic.  In 2009, Joy participated in the highly selective Eastern Workshop for stuttering specialists, a selective week-long workshop hosted by the Stuttering Foundation of America.  Always pursuing learning, Joy received PROMPT training in 2016 to raise her level of expertise working with children with apraxia.  Joy volunteers her time, spearheading and co-leading the National Stuttering Association Kids’ Chapter on Long Island, NY.

Joy specializes in helping children, teens and adults with stuttering and voice problems, as well aa other speech-language related issues.  Joy believes in the importance of treating the “whole person” and working in a "team-approach" to therapy.

Joy enjoys yoga, swimming and spending time with her family.  She resides in Long Island, NY with her husband and children.
