Teens & Adults Voice

What if:

  • Your ENT recommended voice therapy?

  • You are a professional voice-user (teacher, salesman, lawyer, etc.) with no vocal training?

  • Your voice has become unpleasant, hoarse or unreliable?

  • You want to protect your voice from abuse?

Voice therapy doesn’t have to take long.

It’s not all about belly breathing, and it doesn’t take long to see results. In fact, most of our clients start to see results within a few sessions.

At Schneider Speech, we treat people, not problems. We help you recover a clearer voice with less effort. We customize our approach to meet your needs, so you can use your voice in real life - whether you are a teacher, salesperson, amateur singer, or religious official.

In our 50 years in practice, we have supported thousands of teens and adults to reclaim their voice.

Our experience shows us…

  • No two voices are the same, and each person uses their voice in different ways.

  • Your lifestyle dictates what you need to get out of voice therapy.

  • Your voice is a central part of your identity, and it’s how people know you.

By working together, we’ll achieve the following:

  • Reduce anticipation and fear around using your voice

  • Help you make your voice dependable again

  • Make stronger impressions with your voice

At Schneider Speech, we follow these steps:

  • Discovery: we get to know you, your experiences, your challenges and strengths, and your hopes for the future.

  • Education and Exploration: we teach you research-based strategies in three buckets: voice hygiene, voice exercises, and your speaking voice. We identify which strategies are most effective for you.

  • Implementation: through weekly meetings and manageable practices that take less than 15 minutes a day, we support you and collect data that allows us to track progress.

  • Refinement: we create an ongoing feedback loop that leverages the data we’ve collected and your unique experience to continue to support your voice.

What’s included:

  • Weekly 40min meetings

  • Email and short phone-call (~10 min) check-ins each week

At 16, I was bothered by my deep and raspy voice, and I wanted to get back to singing and acting – and hanging out. I was so glad to learn that I could do something to help my voice, and months later I am still going strong!

My mouth could barely emit a sound, and being a teacher and mother of five boys, this was a real problem. An ENT said I needed surgery. But my husband (a worldwide lecturer) had reduced his nodules with Dr. Schneider, and he recommended I try the voice therapy. After three sessions with Dr. Schneider, I am back, storytelling in two languages, and singing in a melodious voice I thought I’d never hear again. Dr. Schneider is one of the great messengers of healing.
